The cover artwork for STRAPPING YOUNG LAD's new album, "The New Black", has been posted online at this location. The follow-up to last year's "Alien" was recorded at the Armoury and Profile studios in the band's hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia and was mixed by Mike Fraser, who has previously worked with AC/DC, AEROSMITH and METALLICA, among others. A July 11 release via Century Media Records is expected.

STRAPPING YOUNG LAD filmed a video for the first single, "Wrong Side", from "The New Black" on Sunday (May 28) with director Dave Brodsky (THE RED CHORD, GOD FORBID).
